2026-05 Hemmor mit Berliner Inklusions-Tauchclub

Two beautiful days at Kreidesee Hemmoor with the 1st Berlin Inclusive Diving Club.
The club was founded in Berlin in 2015 by Alfred-Georg Anlauf with a clear purpose: to make diving possible for people who often meet barriers in regular diving schools and clubs.
Today, they bring disabled and non-disabled divers into the same diving world, as buddies, teammates, and friends.
What makes the club special is how real their inclusion is. It’s practical, calm, and built on trust. They work with adapted equipment when needed, use alternative underwater communication such as pressure signals or blinking signals, and organize dives with the right level of buddy support.
Their work has also been recognized beyond the diving community. The 1st Berlin Inclusive Diving Club won the 2023 Zukunftspreis des Berliner Sports for bringing people with and without physical disabilities together in diving
Hemmoor was a beautiful place for this. Clear water, quiet moments underwater, and a dive site that gives people space to experience something far away from daily barriers.
For me, these photos are about more than underwater objects. They are about opening this beautiful part of the diving world to more people.
Thank you to the 1st Berlin Inclusive Diving Club for the warm welcome, the trust, and the great work you do
